Reviews

These are NOT stainless steel, but rather cheap chrome coated plastic. Both arrived with the internal lights detached and had to be opened and re-attached. Opening them up, the very poor quality was even more apparent, with sloppy glue, wires that went tightly over the battery and screws that strip very easily in the soft plastic. I had purchased these to replace to 5 year old Malibu solar lanterns (each with a single LED light and made of metal). However, despite the three LEDs in these Tricod lights, the older Malibu were still much brighter. I then decided to keep the Malibu and move the Tricods to another location. In moving them, one broke because of the cheap plastic, and within a week, the other stopped working (I am guessing they don't stand up to rain very well; so much for outdoor lights). Complete junk!

I am not happy with these. They arrived with one that pretty much had to be put back together. That is ok, easy to do. But my main dislike is they are very flimsy. If you have never seen garden solar lights I suggest you go to your local stores and look at them first so you will know what to expect in the price range you have in mind. Perhaps these are a bargain, I really do not know, but I wish I had looked at some in person first. Karen C.
