We have had this phone for nearly a year now and have yet to experience the first problem with it. The battery last forever, its loaded with great features, and even with heavy use looks and works like they day we bought it.
Some months ago, I bought a combo with the phone base and two handsets. I liked it well enough to buy another of these refurbished handsets a couple of months ago, and just bought my second refurbished handset. These have good range and battery life, are comfortable to use, and don't interfere with my 2.4ghz wireless computer network. Both refurb handsets look and perform as new. Registering them with the base unit is simple, though the registration instructions aren't provided with the handset refurbs, and it's not something you can do intuitively just by following the menus on the handset. If you look up the registration instructions in the handset manual on the Panasonic website, they're misleading anyway. Don't use those; use the procedure listed in the manual for your telephone base unit--these handsets work with at least two different models.
This was exactly like the others in the set that this one will join. It would have been nice to have had instructions on how to get this phone to "join" the system - found the answers on the internet after an hour or so of searching. And then the instructions took some interpretation. In the end, it works just fine.
Received the phone when promised. It was in like new condition and was easy to set up with our existing system. Glad we still had the book to the system or we would have been lost. I would buy this product again.
The additional handset is easy to get sync'd up with the cordless system and works as well as the other phones on the system.
