the adjustable sensitivity is fairly precise and useful. can set how long to wait before turning off the lights as described. The delay between detection and turning on the lights is about half a second, not the best one I own but for the price it works very well. I had trouble using it with fluorescents because it didn't draw enough power, so i had to make some changes to make it work. Otherwise great product, i reccomend it.

Purchased three to replace current motion sensors because we replaced the bulbs in the fixtures with cfls. Description states they work with cfls. They do, but lights still flicker and are not powered 100%. Returned for refund.

I purchased two of these -- in the kitchen where I have one (CFL) fixture it works great. Downstairs in the basement I have 5 CFL fixtures and on automatic the lights buzz when on, and flicker when the motion sensor would have them off. I got a GE motion sensing switch too, which exhibits the exact same behavior downstairs. (The 'on' and 'off' positions work great.) I would love if anyone could recommend a motion sensing switch likely to work with larger clusters of CFL bulbs. Update: I found another model from a company called Brazix. While it's not adjustable for time or sensitivity as this one is, and has a different placement for the screws, it's been working downstairs with my multi-CFL setup without a hitch where two other motion switches resulted in flicker.

Use it in the bathroom for a single overhead light, with the vanity light on a switch. Sensitivity and reaction time is great (although not adjustable). Being able to adjust it to not come on based on ambient light is also a great feature. Fixed settings for timer (e.g. 1min, 5min, etc.) would be nice if you could adjust for whatever you wanted. Overall though, does exactly what I want and works as described. Continuation of my good experiences with Heath Zenith products.

I installed one in the garage with 4 fluorescent bulbs, lots of flickering. Moved it to be used with incandescent and it works fine. I'm just sad it didn't work well in the garage.
